What you'll do
As a Digital Tagging Developer, you’ll be designing and implementing best in class tagging strategies and solutions, partnering with the digital business as a trusted adviser, utilising data to drive effortless digital customer experiences. We’ll look to you to develop effective data capture code using a variety of web languages, including JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
As well as this, you’ll be:
- Implementing quality assurance initiatives to ensure high quality, accurate data
- Working collaboratively with digital analysts to make sure technical designs map to the stakeholder requirements
- Assisting with the efficient configuration of the tagging and activation solutions
- Collaborating with technology teams to ensure compliance with overall digital architecture
- Liaising with third party vendors to guarantee the accurate integration of their solutions
- Providing support and consultancy on strategies to improve data availability and accuracy
The skills you'll need
You’ll have a solid understanding of web technologies, such as HTML, JavaScript and CSS, coupled with up to date digital industry knowledge and best practice.
We’ll additionally expect you to have hands on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud suite, with a specific focus on Adobe Launch, Ensighten, Tealium, Google Tag Manager (GTM). This will ideally include front end coding and experience of data capture using key tagging technologies.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- An understanding of web usability, journey design, digital product process, and SEO and digital marketing and analytics technology such as DMP, CDP, remarketing and programmatic.
- Experience in implementing Analytics for native mobile apps, able to demonstrate clear process of providing requirements, QA and sign-off
- Experience with working on Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks
- Experience developing the integrations between Adobe Target, Campaign Standard, Adobe Experience Platform and Analytics, to drive and enable the advancement of behavioural-led business decisions.
- Experience driving quality assurance initiatives to ensure high quality, accurate data and improve data accuracy by regular audits and code validation.
- The ability to interpret business requirements and manage demands of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present in senior forums and influence business decisions and stakeholders through use of technical grounding
