At Lloyds Banking Group, we have a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper and to become the best Financial Services provider for our customers. We underpin the lives of millions of individuals and businesses, and play a key role in helping to build a growing UK economy.
You could be a part of this as an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Trading & Insights Manager to join the Onboarding & Customer Communication Value Stream.
Our Onboarding & Customer Comms Value Stream will give you the opportunity to work in a fun, dynamic team who are at the forefront of leading the way for customers & colleagues in transforming & digitising the Retail Bank across mobile, branch, telephony and internet banking. The transformation culture Onboarding & Customer Comms lives by is to empower its co-located teams to create dynamic environments using agile methodology, including scrum, ultimately providing outstanding customer experiences; and by driving innovative technology solutions that drive iterative change across research, buy and servicing needs to market at pace.
About the role ...
The role is located within the Onsite Interactions and Engagement Lab (OI&E). Our purpose is to help our digitally active customers find products, services and tools to improve their financial wellbeing. The OI&E Lab’s primary focus is the optimisation of customer messaging within secure internet banking areas across Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and MBNA for mobile app and browser experiences. The focus is always on ensuring customers receive timely, relevant and personalised messages to help meet their financial needs.
You'll work with your peers in the Performance & Measurement Team to empower the OI&E Lab through data-lead storytelling, with personal accountability for monitoring performance and generating insights to inform both tactical and strategic decision making.
You’ll be responsible for tracking performance of multiple KPIs across a broad portfolio of customer messaging. Leading a weekly trading cycle you will need to work closely with multiple stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the drivers that impact performance.
On top of this, you’ll have your finger on the pulse, flagging successes and issues through regular updates on performance, trends and projections. The team’s success is built on our ability to tell data-led stories and make the complex sound simple.
You’ll also get to take centre stage in talking about how the OIE Lab is performing against its KPIs. This involves producing high quality PowerPoint slides to support verbal updates.
Working in a fast-paced, friendly and agile environment you’ll discover no two days are the same, and priorities can change quickly. You’ll be challenged to quickly gain an understanding of onsite marketing performance across a variety of products and digital devices, and help partners understand the story behind the numbers. This requires an insatiable curiosity to understand and analyse trends - getting into what the data is/isn't saying to provide that quality insight.
Key to your success will be an ability to be approachable and adaptable to meet tight deadlines, and be self-driven to improve the trading cycle; ranging from target setting, through to how the data is reported and used by the team to inform decisions.
