Here in the PPC team, we work with stakeholders from all areas of the Sainsbury’s business to create bespoke PPC campaigns for all elements of business, ranging from food to general merchandise. We manage all the PPC activity for Sainsbury’s Food, Sainsbury’s Home, Tu Clothing, Habitat Argos and Argos ROI.

 

Sitting within Digital Marketing, we have a strong focus on automation and innovative testing, and like to challenge the status quo. We are always looking for ways to keep up to date with the industry trends and new products, as well as keeping on top of ways to maximise our returns.

 

Amongst the team we have a wide breadth of experience and skills, and if we don’t have the skills our strong relationships with supporting partners ensures we have the assistance needed. As our Assistant for Paid Search, you will be responsible for the activation and optimisation of our Paid Search efforts for a range of categories across all publishers and formats. Our mission is to construct an industry leading paid search strategy by using the best of breed technology, data, targeting, to deliver the best possible commercial performance. 

Key to this role is to support the execution of paid search marketing across text, PLA, LIA, in addition to new and emerging areas to maximise search coverage, online traffic and profitable sales for Sainsbury’s, Argos Habitat and Tu.

 

You’ll need up-to-date Google Ads and Microsoft Ads advanced qualifications – which is paramount as an agency-standard in-house team. A strong understanding of the principles of performance marketing, and how to use insight to make media choices is a must as well as a strong understanding of the principles of ecommerce and how paid channels can be used to drive demand. You must be able to use a variety of data sources (search data, analytics, omniture, etc) to spot opportunities and act accordingly.
