Robert Half is recruiting for an experienced Digital Content Specialist to fulfill a part-time contract/temporary role for our Calgary Client. As the successful candidate for this role you will be an essential part of the team, being responsible for the execution of internal communication campaigns and products as well as providing support for external content that reaches stakeholders and external audiences through a variety of platforms. You will utilize your top-level skill in the theories, concepts and principles used in the implementation of digital content technologies and your passion for creating communication plans to drive performance that builds and enhances the Client’s public image. This role is based in the Calgary, AB. region but is open to fully remote work concessions for eligible candidates located within Canada.

Requirements

MUST HAVE:

  • 2 + years of proven success in a similar role, along with proficient understanding and skill with Google Analytics and SEO combined with proven working success in content creation and digital communication
  • Strong working experience with content management systems, web design, social media platforms, analytics tools and other new media technologies
  • Excellent experience and knowledge of writing and editing marketing content and experience with web and digital content
  • Solid analytical skills and experience analyzing data to develop solutions that meet business needs
  • Proven working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent written communication skills combined with outstanding grammar, editing and proofreading ability
  • Strong project management knowledge and ability to successfully manage multiple projects to consistently deliver high quality results on-time
  • Post-Secondary degree in communications or related field
  • Strong background in communication or journalism is an asset
  • Prior experience in the oil & gas industry is a definite plus
