About the role:

The Digital Analyst’s primary role is to be part of a Business Analysis Team, providing Business Analysis and delivering consistent, clear and detailed Business requirements, in support of the Digital Delivery teams, covering the ecommerce, mobile and customer engagement platforms across our hotel and restaurant business

The primary focus of the role is to be the Analyst as part of one of our Digital Platform teams. These are agile delivery teams responsible for one of our main digital platforms (e.g., premierinn.com website, Mobile Apps, Business Booker, Restaurants).

What you’ll be doing:

• Elicit, Validate, and document requirements, both functional and non-functional, to the required standard 
• Refine and breakdown high level Business requirements into Epics and User Stories using agile methodology
• Build strong and Trusted relationships with Stakeholders across the Whitbread Business
• Collaborate with delivery managers and backlog managers to understand the teams current and next priorities
• Support the IT QA/Test activities by ensuring the acceptance criteria are well documented in BDD Format
• Facilitate and contribute to successful user acceptance testing to confirm requirements are met.
• Actively participate in the Whitbread Analysis & design community

What you’ll need:

• Good understanding of business modelling techniques and approaches to capturing requirements
• Good written and verbal presentation skills, covering As-Is and To-Be Processes, Business Requirements Documents, and test plans
• Running workshops and presentations
• Experience in managing relationships between external partners and business stakeholders
• Experience of managing activities that support full project life cycle implementations, including those of a large complex nature
• Running and participating in agile teams / ceremonies
