These roles are for Diesel Mechanics; 1 specialising in Heavy Plant and Machinery the other in Light Commercial Vehicles and WOFs.

Job Requirements:

Due to the significant increase in building new, plus the repair and maintenance of old roading infrastructure in Hamilton and the Waikato, the demand on our client’s business has increased substantially.  Looking to alleviate the pressure from the team they are actively looking for at least 2 new staff.

Responsibilities:

·         Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical diagnosis

·         Major and minor services

·         Maintenance and component replacements

·         Various Component rebuilds to a set standard

·         Issuing of WOF’s

·         Maintain customer relationships

 Requirements:

·         Trade qualifications as a Diesel/Plant Mechanic

·         Extensive experience working on Earthmoving, Construction and Material Handling machinery

·         Experienced with light commercial vehicle repair and maintenance

·         Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues

·         Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace

·         Team player, Reliable and punctual 

·         An inquisitive mind with a desire to keep abreast of new vehicle / plant trends and learn

·         Certificate to issue WOF’s
