We are currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our expanding Gore business based in Southland. This position will be both workshop based and working out on farms.JJ's sell and service leading brands including Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Valtra and other agriculture products. Established in 1958 JJ Ltd is one of the leading agricultural machinery dealers, with 6 branches covering the majority of the South Island.

Previous experience with tractors and machinery is essential, and while experience on Massey Ferguson and Fendt equipment is preferred, it is not essential as we offer factory run service schools and provide on-going in house training.

The successful applicant will be a motivated person who wishes to advance their career and has pride in their presentation, workmanship and communication. A strong understanding of electronic controls and sound diagnostic skills would be highly beneficial. Minimum Requirements:Excellent mechanical skills and high standard of workmanshipBe able to work unsupervised and have great customer relationship skillsHave experience in mechanical/electronic diagnosis and problem solvingExperience in balers and hay machinery would be an advantageExperience in the Agricultural/Machinery Industry beneficial Excellent work ethicBe able to work flexible hours when required
