What is the opportunity?

As a development Intern you will apply your expertise & deep knowledge of application development and experience in engineering methods to participate in the coding/development of mobile applications with the Solution Acceleration & Innovation team. Your work will contribute to innovation across Mobile, Payments, IoT/Devices, AR/VR, Platforms, Blockchain, Voice, & Machine Learning. The outcomes of your work will contribute to the development or completion of Proof of Concept prototypes, along with development of features for Production apps that will be customer facing.

What will you do?

• Write quality code during the development of new features/prototypes for mobile applications
• Write unit tests for your code
• Research new technologies, building proof of concepts applications to prove out technology choices
• Support existing production applications by troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Work in a team environment, following our standard development practices

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Working towards a Masters or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline of engineering or software sciences
• Familiarity with Agile methods and tools

Nice-to-have

• Hands-on coding experience with iOS or Android applications
• Knowledge of best practices / mobile design patterns for mobile development
• Ability to research and learn new technologies
