Tilemax Dunedin

This is an exciting opportunity to join our active and inclusive team as a design sales consultant in our Dunedin showroom. 

While experience in design is not essential for this role, you must be interested in interiors and trends. 

Full training will be provided. 

Tilemax Dunedin is a locally owned tile store and trade warehouse. We pride ourselves on being focused in giving max value, variety, and service to our retail and design customers as well as trades. 

This is a growing and developing role, it is hands-on and you will need to be motivated to achieve sales goals, while also enjoying a fun and friendly environment for staff and customers. We offer excellent service to all our customers without exception.

Being able to self motivate and manage your time is an essential part of the job. A keen eye for design and colours plus the confidence to guide and assist customers with their ideas will be essential. 

Building meaningful and professional relationships is crucial to help create a diverse and long team client base with new and exisiting customers. This includes Builders, Commercial supplies, Tilers and Trade suppliers, Designers, Architects and Home Owners. The ability to confidently communicate with all of these customer types is important. 

We will provide full training in tiles and our computer systems to the right applicant. You will learn to read and scale plans using software to do so.

Experience in the building industry or tile industry would be an advantage but not essential for the right applicant.
