We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Merchandising team as a Demand Planner based remotely with occasional travel into our support centre in Worksop. 

As our Demand Planner you’ll be responsible for the accurate data input, purchase order raising, allocations and SAP replenishment parameter maintenance in order to achieve the optimum stock movement performance from Vendor to DC and store.

Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve the placement and management of purchase orders across all vendors. You’ll be accountable for the execution of SAP master data maintenance enabling the accurate end to end replenishment from vendor to distribution centre and store. Along with;

• Responsible for ensuring the forecast and replenishment workbenches are cleared daily enabling a smooth execution for replenishment.
• Ensuring the replenishment cycles as well as the planning calendars within SAP are accurate enabling a smooth stock flow the distribution centres.
• Working cross functionally with the Trading team along with other stakeholders to deliver a right first-time solution for retail and identify any cost saving opportunities.
• Accountable for root cause analysis for distribution and store specific availability challenges.
• Accountable for disaster recovery protocols for any system outages including manual creation of vendor purchase orders and store stock orders.

For this role we need someone who has an understanding of Microsoft programmes along with strong analytical skills. Someone with excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
