A career within Deals Capital Projects and Infrastructure, will provide you the opportunity to deliver innovative deal solutions to our clients, providing advice and support, from initiation through to completion. The Infrastructure and Project Finance team helps public and private sector clients finance, deliver and operate projects in a cost effective and efficient fashion. As part of our team, you’ll help our client with procurement strategies, project structuring, financing and negotiations.

What you’ll create and do

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Participate in developing financial models and assist in complex data analysis and modeling including preparing visual representations of data

Conduct feasibility studies and financial and commercial analysis of projects and companies

Participate in large-scale and complex procurements of infrastructure

Participate in assignments involving post-transaction monitoring and project tracking

Participate in writing reports, procurement documents and information memorandums 

Assist in the preparation of pitch decks, market materials and proposals

Assist in developing business opportunities for the Capital Projects & Infrastructure practice

Participate in client meetings and assist with preparing meeting agendas and minutes 

Assist in developing work plans, indicative schedules and budget estimates

Undertake market research and benchmarking exercises as directed 

What you’ll bring to this role

An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives

An interest in pursuing a professional designation in finance (CFA, CBV) or in project management (PMP) would be an asset

Strong financial modeling skills 

Ability to work on multiple projects and on projects with tight deadlines

Ability to use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends and problem-solve

Willingness to travel when required
