A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.
Our Data Intelligence and Analysis - Practice Support team provides PwC a series of organisational technology capabilities that include business intelligence, data management, data warehouse, and data assurance. You’ll help with projects that involve information technology strategy and infrastructure, enterprise architecture, enterprise applications, large scale programme and portfolio management, information technology security, data analytics, computer forensics, and emerging technologies like cloud, mobility and social networking.

What you’ll create and do
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Identify and address internal stakeholder needs: deliver clear requests for information; communicate potential conflicts to a senior team member
Design impactful and innovative experiences for users that align to defined UX strategies and are consistent with best practices in information architecture, interaction design, and established usability heuristics
Conceptualize mockups and concepts, design visualizations and reports; focusing on providing positive user experience, stakeholder value and ease of use
Demonstrated experience and passion in designing for user experience by prototyping and iterating alternative approaches and using agile methodologies
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks; researching and analyzing pertinent internal stakeholder, industry, and technical matters
Have a strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design principles (balance, weight, color, typography, hierarchy) and data visualization expertise
Demonstrated a depth of experience with emphasis on user-interface design for digital applications, including complex data-driven sites and multi-screen applications
Coach and collaborate with peers who assist with this work, including providing coaching, feedback and guidance on work performance
Must be able to break down complex problems, question assumptions and be comfortable working with limited information and some degree of uncertainty
Share new tools, design trends and industry best practices with team members
Define and translate business needs and requirements into designing, building and deploying solutions, focusing on delivering insights and stakeholder value
Document and refine research findings into user personas, journey maps, service blueprints, affinity maps and user stories
Translate concepts into deliverables: wireframes, user stories, user journeys and mockups optimized for brand consistency and a wide range of devices and interfaces; iterating with increased levels of fidelity
Take a user-centered design approach, by communicating with peers and internal stakeholders, and rapidly test and iterate designs
Assist with the development of a user interface design style guide that incorporates brand consistency used across user interfaces, assist with developing a visual design library for common user interface elements, including buttons and icons, and conceive, document, and set document interface guidelines and standards
Collaborate across multiple product and project teams with practical experience delivering projects using agile methodologies including Scrum and SAFe
Proactively identify logic gaps, errors, anomalies, inconsistencies, and redundancies in the content and structure within reports
Deliver solutions through presentations and reports to technical and nontechnical audiences at various levels
Execute and deliver design reviews and technical demos with project teams and internal stakeholders to obtain and implement feedback
What you’ll bring to this role

A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
Experience with data visualization development, advanced calculations, and developing interactive visualizations and demonstrated experience creating graphical user interfaces, mockups, prototypes, and design documents
Certification or Degree in information design, user interface design or related field
Diverse portfolio that exhibits excellent use of typography, color, imagery, and graphic elements in designs
Experience creating or is familiar with: user personas, experience/user journey mapping, wireframes, low and hi-fi prototyping, user testing and UI design
Basic knowledge of front end markup: HTML/CSS/JQuery/other
Knowledge of UI and UX design
Experience with industry standard tools and frameworks including: Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD; Zeplin or InVision ; Mural, Miro or InVision Freehand; Asana, Azure DevOps or Jira; Agile or Scrum; Software Development Methodology
Comfortable delivering advice and taking feedback in high-pressure environments
Ability to communicate design concepts and choices to non-design staff
Excellent discretion when dealing with sensitive information
Consistently message and promote D&A strategy across the business
Prioritize and handle multiple tasks; researching and analyzing pertinent internal stakeholder, industry, and technical matters
Translate business needs into visual designs, with a specific understanding of how client demands turn into technical dashboard solutions. Respond to requests to update and improve design of dashboards and visuals
