Job Description

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with The Apprentice and Training Partnership, delivered through combined classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning. The training covers the following core occupational duties:

How I can add value?

· Analyse data, processes and controls within the end to end control frameworks

· corrective processes and actions

· Undertake activities that detect, investigate, manage and monitor risks that contribute to the achievement of financial targets

· Create records that support the recovery of revenues and costs with third parties

· Analyse information to respond to, defend and drive regulatory reviews

What you’ll gain from this role

· Develop a solid understanding of TalkTalk’s policies, processes and controls that safeguard the organisation's financial position.

· Development of skills to analyse data ready for presentation to others

· On the job experience of working with large datasets, creating business insight and contribution towards team targets

· Develop product understanding as well as business process knowhow

· Opportunity to work with external and internal stakeholders for the successful delivery of team targets and delivery of other key controls

· Develop an understanding of processes and controls that drive revenue and cost at TalkTalk

· Experience of using SQL, advanced excel, Azure tooling, Power BI

· Off the job learning & dedicated study to achieve the Level 3 Data Technician apprenticeship qualification

What do I need in order to be successful?

Nice to have:

· An interest in data analysis/working with data and a desire to further development these skills

· Good communication skills

· Desire to learn on the job

· A desire to learn more about the area of Finance, reporting & data analysis

· Maths & English entry requirements

Requirements

You are required to have GCSE 9-4 grades or equivalent in English and Maths to apply for this type of apprenticeship. If you do not have these grades but have completed numeracy and literacy Key Skills/Functional Skills at level two you may also apply for these apprenticeships
