This is a lead role where you will shape the design of processes to create an automated and complete data landscape and transform how we implement our GDPR, privacy and customer preference responses and whilst ensuring conformance with Sky’s data management standards and driving a best practice culture. What you’ll do:
• Create & implement strategy, plans & priorities, addressing the challenges & risks as well as successes for the complete data landscape process automation and implementation of our GDPR, privacy and customer responses aligning with relevant stakeholder and key teams.
• Effectively collaborate with Architecture to ensure the design of our customer records is aligned across product offerings and methods of access (e.g. online access accounts, billing accounts, email, phone, SMS, etc.)
• Work with the DPO, CISO, business and technical stakeholders, providing advice and guidance on regulatory and preference standards to support delivery of workstreams and projects to affect the best outcomes.
• Accountable for the design and solution implementation linking our data and systems to give visibility and assurance of our compliance. Ensure the business case for change is sound and measurable and well communicated
• Excellent enabler who brings teams and departments together to address issues and solutions, clearing the fog when complex problems are presented working through to resolution aiming to keeping it simple wherever possible
• Maintain expert knowledge of current best practice on Regulatory issues, practices and methods.
What you’ll bring:
• Demonstrable experience in building, delivering and maintaining successful initiatives in data.
• Expect knowledge of the regulatory landscape, data governance and the tools and methods available.
• An analytical mindset together with a strong knowledge of data regulations and change or programme management experience.
• A balanced approach to work demands, with the ability to create and drive direction in absence of a clear path, ensuring complex problems are understood and resolutions addressed.
• Skills in building a team ensuring the right mix of knowledge and skills comes together
• Brilliant relationship management and influencing skills at all levels and to very differing audiences whilst exercising discretion on sensitive & confidential matters.
In this role you will form and lead a new team within the wider DTA department. Further to the above you will have the opportunity to support agility and culture within the team.

This role is hybrid, therefore we are happy to consider applicants local to either our Livingston or Osterley Head office in London
