What’s the role about?
Data and how we use it to drive value, is key to The Partnership's vitality. There are many different data sets that we need to use to ensure our business is constantly moving forward and which enables us to provide the best possible service and experience for our customers. We are looking for a Product Owner who will lead cross-functional teams to deliver improvements to the Partnership's Data, Insight & Analytics Capabilities. You will be responsible for the management and sign off of team output, the management and prioritisation of the product backlog and benefit reporting and analysis.
It would be great if you have experience working with products in one of the following areas:
Master Data Management
Customer / Marketing Products
Data Platforms
Digital Products

What you’ll be doing as a Data Product Owner:
You will be passionate about great data, analytics, insight and compliance. You will need excellent stakeholder engagement skills to make sure that conflicting priorities are managed appropriately. To be successful in this role, it is essential to work across teams and be highly collaborative, as you will be operating in a highly matrixed environment. You will have a great understanding of your customers and be able to strike a balance between customer and commercial needs, constantly re prioritising features and functions effectively. As a great influencer, you will be comfortable working under pressure and will always endeavour to make the best decisions for the customer and the business.
What you’ll have:
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong data analysis skills
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Understanding of the business logic of data insights and analytics
Experienced in matrixed ways of working
What else you could bring :
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Product Ownership experience in complex / large data projects and functions
Experience of developing one or more of the following - BI / Insight, DataWarehouse, Complex retail environments, Analytics design

As a Data Product Owner in the Data Management Office you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver Partnership Data Products. You will be responsible for developing the roadmap for the product and produce a clear and agreed plan which ensures delivery which meets our business and customer requirements. You will be responsible for the management and sign off of the cross functional teams output and for prioritisation of the backlog. You will influence and advocate for future development based on deep knowledge of data, the data and information strategy, the business strategy and relevant industry activity.
