Join us as a Data Governance & Assurance Analyst

What you'll do

You'll make sure the business complies with data management policy and that related functions are consistent and aligned to our data strategy, working across the business to make sure data related risks are identified and solutions managed.

You’ll also:

• Support in the effective and efficient assurance of data management compliance, ensuring all policy standards, legal and regulatory requirements and expectations are met
• Support in the identification of data related risks and ensure they are identified clearly
• Support the creation of a culture where data is regarded as a valuable commodity within the business
• Act as first point of contact for senior leadership on data governance and policy and that best practice is adopted and embedded

The skills you'll need

You'll need an understanding of data management principles, to be a confident communicator and the ability to convey complex subjects making them accessible to generalist audiences.

You’ll also need:

• Experience with data management and quality assurance policies
• Experience at building support for and engagement in solutions by sharing information
• Experience in developing improvement initiatives to meet long term goals
• Experience of developing relationships with stakeholders and building positive working relationships
• The ability to leverage best practice and apply appropriately to our data governance framework
• Experience with BCBS239 is an added bonus
