We are looking for a talented engineer who is passionate about building big data platforms and intelligence solutions that are impactful in real world products to enable businesses to optimize and grow their offerings for customers around the world.

In this role, you will be partnering closely with feature developers, program managers and data scientists to utilize petabytes of data and translate them into actionable insights. Furthermore, you will be accountable for building and operationalizing critical components and tools to ensure the data coming in and going out are of the highest data quality and integrity. In the end state, the data services built and operated by you would rival the absolute best in the industry in engineering, operations, and usability excellence.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineer on our team, your work will span the following areas:

• Authoring Big Data ETL pipelines on COSMOS and Azure in SCOPE, SQL, Python or C#
• Enabling rapid experimentation of new product initiatives
• Building metrics, dashboards and reports for our leadership and product teams
• Analytics for user behavior, including segmentation models and predicting trends (growth models)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of BI or software development experience using MS or industry technologies
• Strong programming skills in at least one high level language: Python, Java, C++, C#
• Experience building data models and performing complex queries using SQL
• Experience building large real-time data pipelines and/or web services
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• COSMOS, Azure Databricks, Spark and experience with big data technologies will be highly valuable
• Machine Learning, Data Science, and statistical modeling experience are highly valued
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field such as Statistics or Data Science
