Data Engineer - Automation Process – Job Description
- This role is responsible for data acquisition, database transformation, report and solution design, creation and delivery
- The position also assists in performing detailed analysis of data components utilized within established suspicious activity monitoring, customer risk scoring or watch list management methods, identifies risks and applies corresponding changes to existing processes
- Working closely with end users, the candidate will assist in analyzing workflows and processes to implement technology solutions aimed at improving overall efficiency, supporting management and executive reporting while supporting regulatory expectations
- Provide business solutions leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint, offering control and auditing where needed
- Designs, builds and maintains reporting visualizations created in applications such as Spotfire, Access, Power BI, SAS and/or Dataiku
- Assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of automated monitoring processes maintained within SQL Server and/or Access databases
- Design, implement and Support SQL processes as necessary to meet business objectives
- Perform sophisticated data comparisons, providing insight and recommendations to fulfill regulatory requests including audits and exams
- Run multiple semi-automated reports and support automated reports on a daily, weekly or monthly cadence
Data Engineer - Automation Process – Mandatory Skills
- Experience creating Power Apps forms, leveraging SharePoint
- Report creation within tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, Excel
- SQL experience in programming and maintenance
- Relational database understanding with SQL Server, Access and/or Oracle
- ETL coding and logistics with Datameer/Dataiku/SAS
