We are looking for a someone who is passionate about applying their expertise in data engineering and programming to environmental issues and real-world challenges. Work directly with researchers, data scientists, programmers, and solution architects at New Zealand's foremost environmental research organisation to build systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information to support our research and data delivery.
About the opportunity

This position is permanent and full time. It reports to the capability leader of the Environmental Systems and Solutions group in our Informatics team and is based at our Lincoln site.
About you
You have a relevant tertiary qualification such as a degree in computer science, environmental science, or geography along with strong data engineering, programming, and database development experience. You are curious and innovative, excited about learning and pushing technical limits, and a strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. You thrive in a flexible work environment, equally comfortable working on your own or as part of a collaborative team distributed across the country.
