Our team is expanding across Engineering and PM and we are looking for a passionate and motivated software engineer to be a technical leader in the design and development of this new initiative leveraging Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure.

Responsibilities

As an engineer in the group, you will participate in designing and delivering new solutions. This includes developing new components needed to enable new experiences and solving technical problems as we package different apps and services together. You will need to get deeply acquainted with the platforms on which we deliver our solutions including Dynamics 365, Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI as well as our Data Model (CDM). To do that you will need to – 

• Develop and optimize scalable infrastructure which would be deployed in our customers’ environments and would enable: 

• Data extraction across a wide variety of data sources. 
• Data cleansing, preprocessing and transformation for descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive modeling. 

• Data Validation framework from source to endpoints ensuring data quality and integrity. 

• Build PowerBI reports for complex analytical requirements. 
• Understand feature requirements and translate them to complete design specifications. 
• Investigate and prototype new technologies and frameworks, innovate on technical and functional areas bringing efficiency on engineering fundamentals for the Data engineering and Data Science team. 
• Work cross-discipline to help shape the owned features. 

• Integrate software components into a fully functional software solution. 
• Document and maintain software functionality. 
• Comply with project plans and industry standards. 
• Debug and investigate live-site issues to ensure proper availability of our solution. 

Qualifications

• 5+ years development experience on large-scale (Big) data solutions including databases (SQL/No-SQL) and ETL / Data pipelines using cloud services. 
• Experience working with Spark and/or other Big Data technologies. 
• Development experience in relevant technologies (Python, C#, JS, React, cloud computing) is a plus. 
• Azure Synapse Analytics is a big plus. 

• Strong problem-solving skills. 
• Creative and innovative thinking. 
• Good written and verbal communication, critical thinking and collaboration skills. 
• B.Sc. or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent. 
• Strong software engineering skills across all phases of software development lifecycle. 

• Ability to understand unfamiliar code bases, debug client and service side applications. 
• Modern DevOps practices (including Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps/VSTS) 
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 apps / Microsoft Power Platform is a plus.
