WebXT (Web Experience Team including Bing/Ads/MSN/Edge) Data And Analysis in Microsoft STCA is responsible for developing and operating one of the world’s largest data eco-system: PiB data has been being processed, stored, accessed, analyzed and reported from instrumentation to analytics. Besides, modern open-source technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Kylin and Click House are widely used in the team to run the big data business successfully and quickly. The team focus on big data analysis, prediction and experimentation to drive the features delivery on MSN/Ads/Edge/Bing. Thousands of developers in Bing, Ads and MSN are working on top of the data products that the team build. We’re looking for passionate data engineers and data scientist to join us for the mission of powering Microsoft Search/Ads/MSN businesses through data substrate and infusing our data capabilities to the industry.

Responsibilities

• Build intelligence on big data to power Edge business and industry
• Build and analyze metrics system to guide Edge feature delivery
• Design and develop key capabilities for our planet-scale data systems
• Work with world-class engineer/scientist team on Big Data, Analytics and OLAP/OLTP
• Embrace both Microsoft technology and cutting-edge open source technology (Spark/Kafka/Click House/Kylin, etc.)

Qualifications

• Passion on big data, data science and analytics
• Solid coding, engineering and analytical skills
• Good analytics skill, good communication skill, fluent in English (both oral and written)
• Experience in developing large-scale distributed system is a plus
• Experience in A/B Testing System is a plus
