Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking an HRIS Analyst. The HRIS Analyst role will involve preparing financial reports that summarize trends for managers. Duties
Perform duties in accordance with department systems and procedures and AGO’s policies and procedures including security, administration, human resources, and workplace health and safety.
- Develop a detailed understanding of the current legacy HRIS sufficient to ensure key processes, reports, and cyclical events continue to run efficiently. This knowledge expertise will be required to provide advice and oversight over which legacy processes to replicate in the new HCMS, and how they should function.
- Play an integral role in the design, development, and integration of the HCMS project. An ideal time to become involved in the implementation from the perspective of active participation, learning, and personal growth.
-On successful HCMS implementation, the Analyst will become the primary leader for all HCMS activities, such as system updates, adding modules, developing solutions to fix issues, etc. Act as the spokesperson for the HCMS to ensure internal understanding, acceptance, and utilization of the system’s myriad capabilities and advantages.
- Collaborates with the Informational Technology team, People Resources, and external consultants on issues related to the conversion of data to new and enhanced systems and ensures security standards and procedures. Provides project management and analysis for the development and subsequent installation, testing, and implementation of all new computer software modules for the People Division,
-Provides ongoing proactive and reactive support and training to users of the integrated Human Resources Information, Payroll System, and Volunteer Information System. Monitors and takes appropriate action for the effective operation of all Staff & Volunteer Resources Division’s systems and networks, system security, system set-up/back up / recovery, researches and resolves general technical problems as required.
- Identifies potential human resources-related issues from reports, data, query learning, and shares findings with respective managers. Interprets and analyses data, and clients’ requirements, creates, designs, and produces various reports to address needs upon request by clients. Provides scheduled reports from the Human Resources, Payroll, Volunteer Information Systems, and other systems as required.
- Conducts research on a variety of human resources and volunteer People resource issues items as assigned by the Manager, Total Rewards, and others.
- Provides reports, information, and statistics to support the labor negotiations process and all other human resources management requirements.
-Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
· Possess post-secondary education in information systems, or related fields.
· Experience with databases, SQL or HRIS, writing queries, generating reports, and making changes to screen/database.
