The Vacancy

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Strategic Reporting team as a Dashboard Developer based on average 2 days a week at our Support Centre in Worksop and then remotely the rest of the week.

As our Dashboard Developer you’ll design and build BI/MI reports and dashboards in our Qlik Sense business reporting platform. You will direct, challenge, and shape the brief with internal stakeholders; you’ll join up the dots, making connections between report metrics and data sources to create next level business advantage.

Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve the design and build of BI / MI reports and dashboards ensuring these meet the requirements and relevant guidelines and governance. You’ll be responsible for the requirements discovery process ensuring known and hidden requirements are gathered. Along with:

• Proactively advocate and recommend new report solutions, energising business owners to adopt new solutions and evidencing enhanced value.
• Responsible for making recommendations in respect of the optimal development phases, accountable for accurate activity time estimation.
• You’ll drive the quality of BI and MI products through the implementation of approved development and or change management processes.
• You’ll deliver end user training capturing learnings making recommendations for improvements to the wider team.

For this role we need someone who has at least 3 years’ experience working in a data visualisation role in similar industry, used to working in a fast-paced environment and working towards tight SLA’s; with great knowledge of dashboard design, visualisation techniques and technologies through tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau skills in SQL are an advantage.
