What you'll create and do
As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Function as a Data Protection subject matter expertise in data protection related areas such as Data Discovery, Data Classification and Tagging, Data Loss Prevention, Data Anonymization, Deletion, Encryption, etc.
Understand process and materials related to data discovery, DLP, anonymization and deletion.
Knowledge on data protection capabilities offered by cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP.
Project delivery, as required by the scope of specific client engagements, which includes Assessment/Strategy through to the Design, Implementation and Optimisation of data protection, data privacy principles and regulatory environment solutions and products.
Engagement management, including project planning, budget management, and resource management.
Business development activities throughout the entire opportunity lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, pre-sales presentations, technical demos, client & engagement risk assessments, bid management, proposal writing, and contract management.
Practice development, including work on delivery methodology, training, and sales and marketing materials.
Multitasking on multiple projects and tasks with contending priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Working with other Cybersecurity & Privacy teams on non-data protection projects as required.
Coach and train new and/or more junior team members to become an integral part of the Data Protection team, Cybersecurity & Privacy Consulting practice and PwC family.

Industry Certifications (CISSP, CIPP, CCSP, PMP, etc.) would be an asset.
Experience working on data protection capabilities within Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) would be an asset.
Demonstrates experience providing technical guidance for designing, testing, and implementing two or more of the following data protection capabilities:
Data Loss Prevention
Data Discovery
Data Anonymization / Deletion
Data Classification and Tagging
Encryption / Tokenization
Practical experience with conducting risk assessments and testing of data protection and privacy controls.
Industry-specific compliance/regulatory experience (e.g. banking, fintech, life sciences, telecommunications, etc.) is a plus.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Be able to present findings and recommendations from security assessments to senior leadership including VPs, CISO, CIO, and other C-Suite stakeholders.
Experience working with SIEM solutions, and log-ingestion and analysis for insider threat and CSOC would be an asset.
Demonstrates capability to interact with end users to understand and document business and functional requirements, and drive technical tasks across the implementation and operationalization of data protection solutions.
Ability to architect, implement and integrate solutions that provide various data protection capabilities for enterprises.
