Role Title: Cyber Security Architect
Location: UK (Homebased)


Role purpose: 
 
As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a key role for developing and designing secure solutions for customers within complex multi service environments and will support our sales teams across next generation managed service opportunities for Vodafone Business clients. The Cyber Security Architect will take the lead in promoting the benefits to our sales teams and customers of deploying strategic, security by design solutions from Vodafone that will be delivered and managed by Vodafone and Partner’s managed service teams. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplined, cross functional teams within Vodafone, the Cyber Security Architect will ensure that solutions meet the requirements and contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) of our clients, and deliver increased margin through Professional Services and Pre-Sales engagements.

 

This role will align closely with the sales teams to support their strategy and will support negotiations to successful closure. This role requires strong relationships across the organisation to drive optimal collaboration and alignment and ultimately full governance of all bids.

 

You will be passionate about security and helping customers to protect their most important information and assets. A desire and capability to be a subject matter expert in the security space is essential along with excellent stakeholder and customer facing skills.

 

We are looking for Pre-Sales Security professionals to join us in bringing a range of new services to existing and new customers. You'll be in at the start of the 5G revolution and play a role in shaping solutions, products and services for our customers digital futures.

With us you will:

  • Create Security Designs and Architectures that support Vodafone’s strategy of delivering consistent reliable Digital Solutions to our client base.
  • Ensuring that appropriate levels of security are embedded within our solutions and that these are documented, communicated internally and continually evaluated.
  • Driving forward security innovation based on emerging security architecture concepts and best practice into Vodafone product management teams.
  • Collaborate with core portfolio solution teams – IoT, Cloud, Connectivity, and Mobility – to deliver a unified solution value proposition to customers.
  • Act as a mentor to junior members of the team and support their development.
  • Help create new business models and foster disruptive ideas to capture new markets leveraging Vodafone security capabilities

 

Apply if you have: 

  • Experience in responding to RFP/RFI’s that include Managed Security Products and Services.
  • Experience of customer’s cyber security requirements within multiple industry verticals including Financial Services, Critical National Infrastructure & Public Sector.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to professionally discuss and negotiate with customers at both business leader and operational level..
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of Network security, Mobile security and Cloud security.
  • An optimistic and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Self-sufficient and goal driven with strong time management ability.
  • Ability to travel up to 15-20% (mainly UK).
