Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join our team has become available, and we are searching for someone who has exceptional customer service skills.

Based in Avondale, we are a lighting products distributor dealing mainly with large electrical wholesalers and retailers.

In this role, you will join our Customer focused Customer Service Team to process customer orders, resolve customer queries, and do some outbound sales calls. In addition, there will be ad-hoc administrative duties.

You will have full ownership of the customer service process. From receiving the order, invoicing and any queries after delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent phone and email support to our customers, to reassure, gather information, set expectations, and provide the appropriate resolutions or responses
  • Take ownership of problems, and provide solutions for our customers
  • Handling incoming sales and service inquiries via phone, email, and fax
  • Processing customer orders, generating quotations and maximizing sales opportunities
  • Process and investigate customer claims from the beginning of the process right through to resolution
  • Contribute, question, and share knowledge with internal teams for process improvement
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of lighting products or have worked in the lighting industry but is not essential.
