Job Description

We’re looking for a Contact Centre Adviser to join our Customer Service Team. In this role you’ll be delivering the highest levels of service to customers who expect the very best, in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. As an ambassador for the world’s leading luxury retail brand, you’ll be at the very heart of our business, helping our customers with enquires, maximising sales opportunities and increasing the customers’ loyalty to Harrods, as well as protecting our reputation, and sharing knowledge about our products, services and the history and heritage of Harrods.

About you

We want our Contact Centre Service Advisers to be passionate, energetic, friendly and able to create amazing lasting impressions with every one of our customers.

With a strong record of customer service or customer care experience, you’ll be a resilient team player with a can-do attitude. Most importantly you’ll bring the empathy, patience and diplomacy to reassure customers, overcome challenges and deliver the highest standards of customer service. Self-motivated and organised, you build strong relationships quickly and have the listening and communication skills to inspire confidence in others.

More specifically we’re looking for someone with:

  • A working understanding of customer expectations in a contact centre environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple and varied tasks
  • Consider each customer with the Harrods values in mind
  • Approachable, polite, courteous, and respectful to colleagues
  • Ability to build a rapport with customers and colleagues across the business and its brands
  • Organised with excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of Zendesk, live chat, Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
