What’s the role about?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer team as a Customer Planning Lead for Home. In this role, you will lead and be responsible for the creation and delivery of an innovative and customer-centric marketing strategy for our Home category. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, you will define and lead the delivery of key commercial, brand and customer measures to support the wider business plan.
What will you be doing?
In this truly diverse and collaborative role, you will be responsible for bringing together our customer and commercial priorities. You will be the Customer champion within the Home category - acting as the single point of contact for the category into the customer and marketing teams. You will create and develop an innovative 12-18 month Customer and Marketing Strategy for the category. You will drive the customer direction and determine key customer activity to drive Customer and Commercial targets whilst keeping our customers at the heart.
Working closely with all business functions, you will build a customer plan which incorporates Omnichannel, Customer Experience, Marketing and content requirements. You will identify opportunities to work collaboratively with your peers; working synergistically to ensure that the Home plan builds on our broader customer plan.
As a Partnership, we bring in £millions in marketing supplier funding across the year. You will be responsible for shaping the plan to unlock this funding; taking ownership of, and confidently building relationships with our strategic brands. Working closely with our campaigns team, you will co-create proposals for and brief our stakeholders. You will keep stakeholders informed and engaged on the plan, and their key role in its delivery whilst ensuring that it delivers against our suppliers’ funding targets.
You will be responsible for defining key objectives and KPIs; leading a team of marketing professionals with clear direction and a joint ambition to deliver joint outcomes for our customers, brands and the wider Partnership.

What you'll have
Proven experience in leading a team of people.
Extensive experience in building customer-centric marketing plans
Demonstrable experience in managing key stakeholder relationships
What else could you bring?
Working knowledge of planning process and project management skills.
Understanding of the Home retail market
Retail experience and understanding.
