About the role
Join our inbound service team as a Service Consultant within the Contact Centre, you will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers over the phone. You will be delivering excellent service and building great relationships with 80 to 100 customers every day. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a banking career with ANZ. We have a strong focus on coaching, staff development and internal promotions which will give you the skills and experience to develop into further roles at ANZ. You will be supported with an initial (fully paid) 12 week training course and ongoing coaching to help you develop and hone all of the skills you will need to be successful.
What will your day look like
In this role, you would have the opportunity to:
Receive inbound calls from new and existing customers, assisting with their banking needs;
Build positive relationships with ANZ customers by ensuring their banking experience with us is easy, efficient and accurate;
Demonstrate living the ANZ Values with customers and colleagues
We are there when our customers need us, and for this intake the following shifts are available:
Start date: Tuesday 19th April 2022.
Shifts: Variety of shifts available, all including one weekend day.
Hours: Start between 9.00am - 1.00pm on weekdays and between 7:30am - 10:00am on weekends, finishing between 5:00pm and 9:00pm, working 7.5 hours per day (5 days per week) 37.5 hours per week. (Please note there are no part-time or daytime/standard business hours shifts)
Training: Initial 6 weeks of full-time training from start date, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm (or something similar) before moving into normal hours and days of work for approximately two months. From Monday 18th July 2022, you will complete an additional 2 weeks of full-time training, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Role Location: Christchurch, New Zealand Contact Centre.
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time.
