The S-ATS is at the forefront of our digital transformation efforts for our industry-specific customers. They work exclusively to dissect the industry of a specific customer, map industry trends to the technical foundation, understand and translate where the customer wants to go, and orchestrate resources to make that vision a reality. Improvement is a given and disruption a must for the S-ATS. Their technical acumen and industry expertise enables the customer to do business like never before. They are members of a team that aspires for the line-of-business platform to be based on Microsoft Azure Cloud, Modern Workplace solutions, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, while simultaneously respecting legacy platforms as needed. The S-ATS is the owner of the CIO/CTO relationship and contributor to the CEO/CFO relationship owned by their peer, the Strategic Account Executive.

Responsibilities

The S-ATS will be responsible for the following:

Digital transformation (DT) –Demonstrates deep understanding of customers business and industry. Master creativity, innovation and resilience on the path of Digital Transformation. Disrupting the mindset of customers and sales teams by bringing innovative ideas that showcase Microsoft’s unique value proposition. Articulates and qualifies the opportunities to do business in a  new way in order to justify the path to digital transformation. Develop Digital Transformation Technology Strategy fully aligned with the Digital Transformation Business Strategy owned by the Strategic Account Executive. Develops and maintains the case for change and disruption, communicates effectively, bridges perspectives and drives for tech strategy consensus.

Leadership – Orchestrating technical teams in order to help solidify the path to the complex yet exciting journey that is digital transformation. Beyond orchestration, you will display the ability to rely on the help of others and ensure there is a vested interest to engage. Projects the need of the resources for specific DT projects in terms of: time, people, funding. Mobilizes, orchestrates, mentors and leads the teams of technical people from Microsoft, partners and customer to implement DT vision. Anticipates the internal mindset blockers and drive the case for technology change and innovation. Develops and leverages references and case studies. Assess, identify, and leverage the customer’s official and unofficial technical decision-making structures and processes 

Technical architecture ownership - Leading the design and delivery of technical architectures in line with the agreed Client Strategy, Vision and Mission. Assesses the existing/legacy technical architecture and builds the case for smooth or disruptive technology architecture change utilizing change management skills. Utilizes Microsoft/partner/customer/competitor knowledge of architecture to design and lead the new technical architecture development. Anticipates the technical and policy blockers and engages appropriate technical resources to enable the new architecture. Utilizes well known reference architectures. Leads the design and development of the architecture for the future. Delivers effective demos and proposes/drives impactful Proof of Concepts. Respects the legacy and ensures interoperability as per customer’s request, articulating the value of increased Microsoft footprint in new architecture

Technical sales leadership – Differentiating yourself by having by a combination of a strong focus on line-of-business platform and related industry solutions. Lead the positioning and sales of Line of Business Platform based on Microsoft Azure and position industry partner solutions to address specific customer scenarios. Explore specific Modern Workplace scenarios in order to deeply impact customer productivity processes and secure Microsoft MW platform. Anticipate, explore and develop new business scenarios to be supported by Microsoft Dynamics 365. Develop new opportunities resulting in upsell and cross sell to deliver even greater business value.

Executive presence and relationship ownership – Own the relationship with CIO/CTO based on constant knowledge transfer and education on technology architectures for specific customer’s industry. Contributes to the  relationship with CEO/CFO based on constant articulation of DT and technology business value and its impact to the bottom line. Discovers the inner network of the customer, build stakeholder relationship at the Client. Influences decision making. Orchestrates various resources towards the development of customer’s technical community to build the critical volume of support for Microsoft technology. Establish trust based on the industry knowledge and demonstrate the curiosity for disruption and therefore empowerment of key customer executives

Qualifications

10+ years of technical sales experience in IT with a proven track record (at least 3 years) of driving digital transformation, preferably with a Digital Native.

Experience in business consulting or consultative selling is desired. Good communication/ story selling skills, presenting technical ideas to senior executives

Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or business administration related degree.  Master's degree preferred.

Experience in leading and influencing teams in a complex client organisation
