CSSD Technician

Joondalup Health Campus is seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic CSSD Technician to join our CSSD team.

This is a maximum term opportunity - Until Nov 2022.

About the Role

As a SSD Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that high standards for cleaning, sorting, assembling, packaging and sterilising equipment used in the Operating Theatres and Ward areas, is maintained at all times. This will also involve, but is not limited to;

  • Maintaining cleanliness of all work benches, trolleys, machines and equipment;
  • Inspecting and checking all equipment to ensure any damage is reported in a timely manner
  • Available to work a 7 day rotating roster

About You

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a good work ethic at all times that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others and a commitment to professional practice. With experience working as an SSD Technician, you will be competent in sterilisation, have effective communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate an ability to work effectively within a team environment.

You will also bring:

  • Two (2) years of experience working as an SSD Technician
  • Strong attention to detail and strong task orientation
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and the achievement of excellence
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Candidates who hold a Certificate III in Health Service Assistance (Sterilisation Services).
