Job Description

The Critical Business Service Project Manager (CBSPM) will drive the operational tasks associated with the CBS roll-out.

In conjunction with the Global Project Management Office (GPMO) and the central Resilience team, the CBSPM will develop and execute a project plan to implement the identified assessment and resilience requirements for the assigned critical business service

The CBSPM will have overall responsibility for managing and tracking the project / work effort including the development and maintenance of a project plan that outlines the key milestones and tasks associated with completing the project.

The CBPM will be the person responsible for maintaining the documentation and tracking of the Critical Business Service deliverables and milestones, and ensuring the Working Group (including its component teams, CBSC and CBSO) are well organized and on track with deliverables and milestones, and the CBSO is prepared to escalate any issues to the Critical Business Service Council

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a project plan that outlines the key milestones and tasks associated with completing the project.
  • Schedule and run weekly meetings with members of the critical business service team, including the CBSO, CBSC and members of the component teams (e.g. product and coverage teams, operations, technology and corporate functions such as Credit Risk or KYC / Sanction Screening), as well as the designated support contact(s) from the central End to End Resilience team.
    • Document attendance during weekly meetings; in cases where members have not attended two or more consecutive meetings without providing justification, contact members and ensure future participation.
    • Encourage active participation and feedback among all meeting participants.
    • Review Action items during working group meetings.
    • Reports on Key Upcoming activities during working group meetings.
    • Reports on the project status of the working group (Red, Amber, Green).
    • Develops the task list to be completed by the working group.
    • Publish meeting minutes after each weekly working session, highlighting key project deliverables and milestones.
  • Identify what dates / times in 1H21 are going to be challenging for teams to participate.
  • Assist the CBSC in defining trigger points for escalation across the different component teams, as well as gaps and issues.
  • Fill out the Critical Business Service Governance Structure document for the CBS.
  • Minute discussions with component team members to define client harm.
  • Work with the CBSC and the central Resilience team, to work with the other critical business services to reconcile client lists and ensure clients are not being engaged by multiple different business service teams.
  • Document, store and update all relevant artefacts in the departmental SharePoint site including but not limited to: (CBSPM will be granted access to SharePoint), for example:
    • Average client profiles and average target market profile.
    • Lists of prioritized clients.
    • E2E mapping of critical processes/documentation of internal value chain.
    • Documentation of vulnerabilities and value chain risks and needs.
    • Impact Tolerance statements.
    • Prioritized list of remediation efforts.
  • Perform other duties, as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in a financial services role
  • Communications or marketing experience preferred
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of financial services industry
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
