Credit & Risk Administrator

At TalkTalk we're looking to build a 'risk culture' and as Credit & Risk Administrator you'll play a key role in supporting us on that journey.

You'll proactively manage the risk appetite for the business and mitigate any unplanned or excessive risk which goes against our policy or process. However, it's highly important that you also balance the needs of the business with an increased focus on customer satisfaction.

You'll identify risks within potentially new customers, but the majority of your time will be looking at changes within our current customer base, working closely with internal stakeholders if a risk is identified and scoping out a full business case to justify any decision you make.

It's a varied role that will see you take ownership for sales verification, credit policy, cash allocation, bank allocations, reconciliations and supplier management

How will I add value in the role?

  • You'll build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across the end to end order-2-cash journeys

  • You'll build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure a qualitative and consistent delivery of performance

  • You'll act as a custodian of the Credit Policy

  • You'll respond timely and adopt a solution-oriented approach to all customer issues and enquiries

  • You'll adopt an analytical approach to the team workload in order to challenge and drive continuous improvements

  • You'll support and contribute to business change and continuous improvement to champion risk mitigation

What do I need in order to be successful?

You'll have ideally previous experience in Business to Business, stakeholder management and administration.

You'll be used to handling large amounts of data, using your Excel skills to manipulate and display it in a suitable way (experience of PowerBI would be useful, but definitely not essential)

It would be ideal if you've worked in a B2B environment, but we'd still love to hear from you if you haven't
