About this role

We are looking for someone to lead a diverse and knowledgeable team virtually. There will be a strong element of project management within a fast paced and exciting environment, and you will be making key decisions on how we manage our portfolio, and how we approach risk as a company.
The right person will demonstrate confidence, with the ability to negotiate. You will be influencing colleagues as well as communicating effectively to senior stakeholders. Using your analytical skills to take complex data and paint a picture to colleagues at different levels, bringing them on the journey with you.
Attention to detail is key, in ensuring BT complies with relevant principles and requirements, especially relating to FCA handbook CONC 5.
This role will suit an individual who relishes problem solving and is practical, and who enjoys having independence in making decisions. You will be working with different teams to ensure we reach our goals within Credit Risk.
You'll have the following responsibilities
• Manage, coordinate and deliver high quality policy, process and project work; using technical knowledge and project management skills
• Define and ensure Acquisition & In-Life Credit Risk requirements are understood and kept in scope for roadmap projects and strategic initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert in the field of regulated products and FCA rules
• Create virtual teams across the wider business as and when required to resolve priority cross-functional challenges
• Represent Acquisition & In-Life Credit Risk in key governance meetings and operational forums to promote the successful adoption of initiatives and policies within the wider business
• Deliver cohesive and coherent updates on key Credit Risk outcomes to Senior Stakeholders
You'll have the following skills & experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, drawing on data and analytical techniques
• Experienced, flexible and driven Consultant with a proven background in delivering Acquisition & In-Life Credit Risk systems
• Experienced user of credit bureau data (e.g. CAIS, Insight)
• Demonstrable detailed experience of regulatory compliance including FCA rules, guidance and handbooks within a credit risk environment
• Senior stakeholder engagement / Third party supplier management and engagement
• Experience working within the financial services sector
