Sky Creative is Sky’s European Brand and Creative hub providing Brand Strategy, Brand Design, Advertising, Promotions and Broadcast Creative for multiple stakeholders across our European Markets.

The hub will consist of an in-house capability and a matrix of external agency and post production partners.

The Creative Director Promotions DE will have a pivotal role in ensuring creative quality across all promotions created for the German market. This Creative Director will be expected to manage & creative direct local promotion vendors as well as collaborate with internal advertising teams working on shared market campaigns.

What you’ll do:

• Drive the highest quality AV output across all make list promotions for the German market
• Be the ultimate approver of all promotions ahead of delivery
• Build strong relantionships with the promo vendors and keep reviewing the portpofio & quality of output
• Build strong relantionships with content & marketing stakeholders in the German Sky office and lead on any presentations / approval sessions with internal stakeholders
• Collaborate proactively with the shared campaigns team on the transcreation for the German market
• Collaborate with the Creative Director Advertinsing in Germany on campaigns that require AV support
• Lead on regular creative clinics on promotions to ensure we find constant ways of improving the creative ambition, output & process
• Partner with the producer on promos to ensure creative ambition and operational & production frameworks are balanced and aligned

What you’ll bring:

• Fluent in German and English
• Have been responsible for a brand’s creative output with demonstrated experience of running a piece of business or being very much ready to do so
• Proven record of leading teams able to produce award winning creative
• Good understanding of the German sports landscape and the entertainment industry in general
• In depth experience of the promotions and broadcast creative processes, including limitations and regulations specific to the German market
• Leadership capabilities, ability to bring the best out in people, with contructive feedback and clear direction
• Ability to manage the feedback process where relevant
• A good understanding of brands and brand behaviours to ensure all promotions are on brand for Sky and Sky Ticket
• Collaborative approach & ability to work under pressure and to tight turn arounds
• Mutlitasking, ability to be across multiple projects with the ability to prioritise
• Outstanding presentation skills, able to hold a room and confident in presenting at senior level
