Sky Creative is Sky’s European Brand and Creative hub providing Brand Strategy, Brand Design, Advertising, Promotions and Broadcast Creative for multiple stakeholders across our European Markets.

The hub will consist of an in-house capability and a matrix of external agency and post-production partners.

The Creative Director DE will have a pivotal role in establishing and then accountability for all creative functions delivering to the German market including in-house teams in the UK as well as external local partners and suppliers. While the German market will be your key responsibility, you will also be expected to collaborate and lead on projects and campaigns across other territories and on campaigns shared between them.

Reporting into the Group Executive Creative Director for Advertising, the successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team on some of our most important TTL campaigns at Sky.

You will have creative control of a crucial piece of Sky business and line management of several creatives.

What you’ll do:

• Develop new and unique ideas that push our brand forward. Provide effective creative direction over TTL comms across all channels and ensure the highest standards of creative are always maintained.

• Form and deliver creative and strategic objectives for the German Market (working alongside Planning and Account Management).

• Form and deliver campaigns that will run across all European territories.

• Form and deliver campaigns for the other Sky markets.

• Creatively oversee promos created by an external agency for the German Market.

• Have strong conceptual and ideation skills, a flair for execution and an eye for detail. Be a brand guardian, ensuring work conforms to our Sky Master brand values.

• Be a great communicator, think strategically and take others with you.

• Present to agency, clients and partners and oversee production, shoots, and post-production.

• Support the Group Executive Creative Director of Advertising and the SCA senior leadership team. Perform highly against a clear set of agreed business and personal objectives.

What you’ll bring:

• A history of creating outstanding advertising and TTL campaigns where the idea is key with validated excellence in creative origination and execution across all channels.

• Fluency in German and English.

• Have been responsible for a brand’s creative output with demonstrated experience of running a piece of business or being very much ready to do so.

• Proven experience in people management, mentoring and team leadership.

• Excellent strategic and conceptual thinker with strong copywriting and/or art Direction.

• Ability to think 360 and TTL with a strong knowledge of production, shoots, and post-production.

• Outstanding presentation skills, able to hold a room and confident in presenting at senior level.

UK (Osterley) – with ability to commute between UK and other territories.

Our Osterley campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. There’s also plenty of parking, bike shelters and showers.
