Robert Half has partnered with an exciting organization looking for their next Corporate Controller to join the team. The Corporate Controller will enjoy a fast-paced company experiencing rapid growth in the materials & metals industry. If you are looking for a mentor, look no further as this role reports directly into the CFO who has incredible tenure with this company! As Corporate Controller you will be relied upon to oversee and mentor two senior accountants and an accounts payable team.

Responsibilities will include:

-Supervising all accounting and financial functions for multiple entities

-Analyzing and interpreting balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and liabilities

-Creating and maintaining annual budgets/forecasts

-Creating forecasts to assist business planning and decision making

-Assisting in evaluating the company’s performance using KPI's

-Evaluating and enhancing financial controls

-Various ad hoc projects as required

Requirements

-CPA designation required

-Experience in manufacturing, mining or technology is considered an asset

-Experience from a public practice firm is highly desirable

-2+ years experience in a leadership role

-Experience with IFRS is considered an asset but not a must-have
