The opportunity
Contract until March 2023
The Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of enterprise systems and processes to meet complex operational requirements to mitigate safety risk.
The main responsibilities for this role are, but not limited to:
Support the development of Business Continuity (BC) documents to support the framework for BC, Disaster Recovery plans and site incident management plans.
Keep up to date with legislation, codes of practice and standards to inform documentation and strategy ensuring the Sydney Trains enterprise plan remains current and appropriate
Coordinate the development and review of coaching and education documents across the business for BC and emergency preparedness plans

About you
You will have previous experience in a similar role in a complex environment where you have been responsible for directly supporting the development of BC plans and policies.
Selection Criteria:
Tertiary qualification in a BCM and emergency preparedness related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience;
Extensive experience in developing, implementing and evaluating business continuity plans in a large industrial setting and knowledge of relevant policies and statutory requirements;
Recognition as an expert in the field of risk with extensive experience and proven capabilities to manage risk/safety across a large organisation and work across organisational boundaries to achieve outcomes
High level of computer literacy and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft products including share point and other software applications;
Understanding of Emergency/ Incident Management arrangements in NSW.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this position is pro rate at RC6 ($127,559-$141,442) plus superannuation and leave loading.
