Our established client in Calgary is currently seeking a Controller to join their focused team for a full time role.

As the Controller your day to day responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to:

• Full Cycle Accounting/Bookkeeping
• Prepare month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
• Monthly financial statements
• Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management
• Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection
• Review and present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners
• Evaluate, implement, and streamline policies, procedures, controls, and most methodologies
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis

Requirements

Play a vital role as a Controller with our client. The successful Controller will possess the following:

• Previous experience as a Controller
• CPA Designation preferred
• You have exceptional communication skills
• Experience with SAGE is an asset
• A proven ability to get along effectively at all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail a plus
