Role Overview

We are looking for a hard working Control Room Officer that is ready for a new challenging role within our core team working for a prestigious car manufacturing plant in Oxford. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

This is a varied role and demanding role where you will need to be ready to respond to emergencies on site, responsibilities will include:

Control room operations

CCTV monitoring

Escalation of incidents

Accident report writing

The Ideal Candidate

Due to licensing requirements, you must be over 18 to apply for this position. You will be a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key. You will be contracted to work a minimum of 42 hours per week and must be flexible and available to work on a '4 on 4 off' shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience and your SIA licence, however it’s not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training. You will also need to have a full UK driving licence. CCTV SIA licence is also desirable.

Benefits

Salary circa £26,000 per annum

5.6 weeks holiday per year, 8 of these will be in lieu of bank holidays (worked or not worked)
