THE ROLE

We are looking for a Content Manager to come in and take the reins of our content activities end-to-end as we look to build our community and network, taking ownership of the accumulation, quality-control, design and distribution.

Initially you will be responsible for amassing high-quality content for our site and social media channels and building our pipeline of writers and creatives. This will require a creative, ambitious and diligent person to work closely with the Marketing & Social Media Manager to understand our mission and align on tone of voice and consistency of content and brand on all platforms. Then past this, looking to provide regular content for the necessary channels and create a roadmap for our content for the future as well as managing the content on our inner network/community to launch later this year.

Coming on board at such an early stage means you can have a HUGE impact and can have a lot of autonomy over how you work, working with the founder to push the company vision forward and build out the community.

We don’t necessarily need you to have years of experience but some proven experience with content creation and a creative mind, with an eye for visuals and detail is necessary. More than anything we need you to be innovative, smart and a quick learner with a great work ethic and the want to generate quality content and have fun doing so.

As you will be coming in at an early stage in the journey, we are looking for someone with the same passion as us who is willing to get their hands dirty and be part of the family from the start. Below are some of the elements this role will likely involve. You will notice the role will be incredibly varied and involve you rolling up your sleeves and diving into various tasks, learning new systems, principles and constantly adapting.

One of our founding principles is continuous improvement so we strongly believe that just because you haven’t done something before doesn’t mean you couldn’t. For this we are looking to offer a small piece of equity in the company, as we want this person to take ownership of this side of the business and really feel they are helping to build something that they are a part of.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the content accumulation and delivery process - finding freelancers, setting content guidelines in line with strategy and then assuring each piece fits those guidelines and goes out to market at the right time, on the right platform with the right qualities
  • Manage the creation of our weekly Youtube videos from our content and distribute - tracking analytics and focusing on growth of channel
  • Be the content lead for the company - coming up with ideas for content, whether that be interviews, videos, blog posts, images etc and then following through on bringing them to life
  • Brand - ensuring a consistent creative stamp to all of our content
  • Work to create our courses and playbooks across growth categories - from finding and working with topic experts on content, to design, format and materials

  • Running Monthly Newsletter

  • Working with the Marketing & Social Media Manager - to align on all content, tone of voice, brand consistency etc, ensure content is in line with growth and engagement strategies set out and any community insights

  • Working with Content Writers/Brand Partnerships/Influencers/Content Creators/Talent on various projects - you will more than likely be the face of The Renaissaint when it comes to working with external contributors from a Content perspective

  • Content Management for Social Media - assisting with content for all channels, working with marketing and social media manager for planning and delivery of content, analysis of importance of specific channels and formulating strategy, analysing and tweaking as we go forward

  • Setting out long and short-term content plans - tracking KPI's with regards to content and reporting to the founder

  • Strategy - In line with Marketing & Social Media Manager, combining brains to decide on the direction our content and creative strategies should be moving. What is productive, what is liked, what drives engagement etc
