Job Description

The role:

The Activation Advisor plays a critical role in the success of our sales teams and the satisfaction of our customers.   As an Activation Advisor, you’ll be responding to new business applications/calls, using your sales and influencing skills to bring new customers to Brakes and encourage a business partner relationship.  You’ll enjoy looking for sales opportunities in every situation and build strong relationships with customers and sales teams alike. You’ll naturally promote and embrace our inclusive team environment and we’re sure you’ll have some fun along the way! 

  • Develop sound knowledge of customer's needs, competitor activity and products.
  • Liaise with Account Managers and Sales Managers as required
  • Identify new opportunities to achieve sales and promote additional services
  • Support Account Managers, Sales Managers and supporting New Business teams.
  • Create strong customer relationships and creating the beginning of a positive customer journey
  • Work effectively with other individuals and teams and achieve objectives and KPI’s
  • Accurate completion of administration/handovers

Required skills and competencies:

  • Computer Literate.
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience from a telesales, retail or call centre environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Understanding of sales reporting and margin calculations
  • Excellent at building strong, working relationships with both Customers and within the business
  • Motivated by results, with a proven track record of meeting/beating targets you must thrive on a challenge and have a determination to succeed
  • Excellent literacy and communication skills – phone and email
