 Primarily involved in data analytics and consumer trend reporting, this specialist role has responsibility for researching, analysing, interpreting and clearly communicating consumer market intelligence. We are looking for someone with experience of analysing and interpreting data, with an interest in consumer food trends and making a difference for our levy payers.

This role offers hybrid working a mix of working at our Head Quarters in Stoneleigh and remotely from home.

Prepare, analyse and interpret demand, usage, attitudinal and trend data from multiple sources including Kantar World panel, YouGov, IGD, Mintel and Global Data Support maintenance of the Retail & Consumer Insight webpage To be a point of contact for enquiries on retailer and foodservice market trends from levy payers, retailers, processors and pressBuild and maintain knowledge on consumer, retailer and foodservice markets and trends and develop knowledge of agricultural sectors to aid answering stakeholder enquiries and contribute to sector presentations Work closely with the Consumer Insight team combining knowledge for the best outputs Be a knowledge hub on end-user markets and consumer behaviour for AHDB Understand a range of quantitative and qualitative consumer research methods and be able to recommend suitable consumer research solutions Collate information to write/or contribute to thought leadership pieces, including online articles/reports and presentations Professional qualification to at least degree standard in Business/Marketing/Economics/Agriculture or another numerate discipline, or equivalent experience Broad understanding of consumer trends and purchasing habits Experience of writing market reports or similar publications preferred Competent using modern IT applications in a business environment.
