The Opportunity

We have an exciting new role as the first Consolidation Manager here at EDF Renewables UK. As the first person in this role, you'll have a real chance to set up a function and make a difference.

As the Consolidation Manager you'll be establishing the consolidation process in the UK for all UK entities and individual reporting in Ireland from preparation to deliverable submission. You'll be using IFRS SAP FC reporting packages to identify and maintain accounting adjustments. Alongside this, you'll have overarching responsibility for the integrity of the data, including clearing all consolidation controls prior to submission. 

You'll be responsible for the quality of the financial reporting and the audit process follow up including ensuring accounting policies are created, developed, implemented and operating effectively across EDF Renewables UK and Ireland. We'll be expecting you to lead the identification and implementation of continuous improvements to processes and information to meet changing customer needs. 

The Skills

We need you to have an accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with several years' post qualification experience in a similar role. A very strong knowledge of both UK GAAP and IFRS and experience of preparing consolidated accounts and the confidence to apply them to practical examples.
