The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Compounding Technician to join our team in Mt Wellington, Auckland in a Full-time,12 Month Fixed Term Position. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Technician to work collaboratively and support the aseptic production process.

Key responsibilities

• Picking and preparing raw materials.
• Aseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutions or syringes.
• Packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products.
• Labelling and dispatching of prepared products.
• Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures
• The successful candidate will receive full training in all aspects of the Technician role and will work alongside our site trainers and coaches until fully versatile and competent.

Essential skills & qualifications

• Enjoy work that requires a high attention to detail
• Be comfortable working within a cleanroom environment for part of your working day
• Be able to lift up to 10 kgs regularly throughout the day
• Be highly productive
• Demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
• Undertake and pass the pre-employment medical including blood tests.
• Be flexible to work across shifts within the operating hours of 5:00 am to 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.

We are seeking candidates who are keen to work in the healthcare sector and comfortable working in a highly procedure driven environment.  While relevant experience would be great, the right attitude is what we are really looking for so if you can demonstrate this, we can provide you with the technical training. 

The current standard hours of work for this role is 8 hours/day between 5:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday to Sunday.  However, to meet customer requirements we do require flexibility to work alternative hours from time to time and the roster may change in future to meet changing customer needs
