As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy, we are currently seeking a Compliance Risk Analyst to join a critical part of our business.  This role will support the Group Compliance team and will directly report to the Compliance Risk Manager.

As a Compliance Risk Analyst, you will support the Group Compliance function in identifying and evaluating compliance risks in the areas of Anti-corruption, foreign trade controls (FTC) and Sanctions, and Anti-Modern Slavery.  You will assist in establishing and maintaining standard risk assessment tools and procedures and support the implementation of preventive response plans and effectiveness testing programs.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the implementation of the compliance risk management program and initiatives across Toll Group globally
  • Lead the development of a group wide effectiveness reporting dashboard and KPI framework.
  • Monitor and analyse topical compliance risk trends and suggest preventive measures to assist in mitigating future risks.
  • Set-up annual implementation plan for internal controls according to Compliance Programs.
  • Support the compliance due diligence process for third parties and assist in improvements on third party risk management controls.

Qualifications

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work in a similar position.
  • Knowledge on governance, risk management and internal control frameworks (corruption prevention, modern slavery, foreign trade control and sanctions)
  • Data analytics capability in the evaluation of areas of internal controls and compliance risk exposure is preferable
  • Computer literacy skills including the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Knowledge of the logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation industry is advantageous.
  • A tertiary qualification in a legal, commerce or compliance risk discipline is preferable.
  • Willing to travel if required
