Job Description

Barnardo's is pleased to be working in partnership with Southern Health Foundation Trust. Providing the community offer for the 0-19 Public Health Nursing Contract.

We are looking for one outstanding  and dynamic person to work full-time in the East Hants area, including Bordon, Alton and Petersfield.   Preferably you will have had some experience  of direct  work with younger children and their families. 

Monday - Friday with some occasional evening or weekend work:  2 x 18.5 hour posts could be a consideration. 

 Successful candidates will need:

  • Desirable - qualification Education / youth work or Childcare qualification Level 3 minimum.
  • To work as part of a team to provide good quality services to young children and their families accessing the service.   
  • Excellent knowledge of the Childhood development in specific speech and language development, and attachment  
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and across the East Hants area. 
  • Good time Management skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
