What's the role?

You will be supporting the open-source library and ecosystem by:

• Crafting templates and component libraries using the Python data ecosystem and Datapane
• Working on documentation and guides for the API and SDK
• Creating technical content about the Python data stack and Datapane
• Working with users on GitHub to help them with bugs, issues, and contributions
• Working with customers to help them build reports, dashboards, and apps using Datapane and Python
• Help open-source users be successful and happy

This role touches on many skills, and you will be working across product, marketing, and data science.

Requirements

• 2+ years writing Python and knowledge of data science ecosystem. As this role touches upon both software engineering and data science, you should feel at home building applications using Python as well as hacking on Notebooks using pandas.
• Experience working with communities or open-source (contributions to existing open-source projects would be a big plus!)
• Fluent written and spoken English
