This role is accountable for leading BT’s transformation and modernisation communications, aligned to BT’s Strategic Framework, and for the effective delivery of specific and extensive change communications to support this (e.g. projects may include business transformation, operating model changes, people changes, divestments etc).
The majority of the role will focus on BT-wide transformation and associated change programmes, however in addition, this role will also have specific responsibility for the design and delivery of communications to support major change programmes within the four corporate units.

What will the role involve as one of our Internal Communications Managers?
Â
Responsible for owning and delivering complex internal transformation communication activities, working with colleagues from across the business
Lead and deliver BT-wide communication plans and facilitate embedding of new strategic initiatives
Produces change communication that is aligned to the strategy and provides clarity and context on the overall transformation rationale
Manages stakeholder expectations to ensure that the transformation programme comms are produced and shared at the right time, using the right channel.
Works closely with stakeholders to ensure that the approach to transformation is consistent across the whole of BT and all activities are aligned.
Acts as a change communications expert for BT-wide transformation. Offers strategic advice and counsel in line with the IC strategy and business needs.
Creates BT-wide content, working with the Creative and agency teams, that aligns with BT’s brand, tone of voice, and IC’s annual strategy and plan; enabling people in BT to do their jobs brilliantly.
Supports the objectives of the Principal, Transformation Communication

Change communications experience within complex change projects

Proven ability to design and deliver strategic communications plans across multiple channels and audiencesÂ

Excellent multi-tasker, able to devise and execute communications for a mix of colleague experience programme(s)
