Our mission is to break down the barriers of today to release the potential of tomorrow. Join us today and release yours.
There are two things that we want to share with anyone considering joining us.
Firstly, we’ve got big ambitions for our colleagues and the future of the organisation. These include our vision that inclusion and accessibility drive every conversation we have and every decision we make. We want our workforce to fully represent the communities and customers we serve, because a diverse business is a better business. We value every colleague, their diversity and the contribution that they make. When we say you’re welcome at BT, we really mean it.
Secondly, the one thing the pandemic has taught us is that a lot of current and future colleagues, where and when possible, want to embrace hybrid working. Therefore, we are introducing smart working at BT. Smart working means having the flexibility to choose, as a team, how and where you work depending on your team’s deliverables and needs; when you are at your shared core location to connect with others and when not. It may not be for every role, and, as part of the recruitment process, you’ll have the chance to discuss smart working and how it might work for the job you are applying for.
About this role
BT is going through a transformation – and data is at the heart. We’re simplifying our products, transforming our customer journeys, modernising our IT and networks and decommissioning legacy platforms. The Data & Analytics Enablement Tribe is underpinning this transformation by creating data as an asset – on par with our network, people and brands. The Tribe’s mission is to enable Value Stream tribes to access data and use data and analytics capabilities powerfully, by addressing the key challenges they face: feature-rich and scalable technologies; data availability and quality; the skills needed to make the most of it; and end to end governance

We want to ensure the changes land effectively building on methods we have been applying successfully in our human centred service design. This vital team also provides an overarching view of the change agenda and our evolving operating model for the next 2-5 years so that we have visibility of our challenges and opportunities, to help us address and capitalise on them together.
The Communication and Engagement Lead is responsible for putting together a robust Data and Artificial Intelligence (Data & AI) communications strategy and manage the plan which provides key stakeholders with an understanding of key milestones, events, learning interventions to enable them to go on the journey with us. Partnering with senior stakeholders in Data & AI to help shape their communications and engagement strategy and create a plan which will require engaging and influencing pan-BT colleagues and stakeholders. In some instances, will need to help deliver the comms and engagement plan driving content creation. Co-create user centric communications for Data & AI to help our users (as depicted in our data personas), technology custodians and data consumers, and citizens to effectively access and engage with the newly established and/or improved processes that’s needed within our data cloud platform.
